• Leadership and Administration:
  • Provide visionary leadership to promote academic excellence, Islamic values, and a positive school culture.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, including curriculum implementation, staff supervision, and student discipline.
  • Develop and manage the school budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with Ontario Ministry of Education regulations and Islamic school policies.
• Educational Oversight:
  • Collaborate with teachers to design and implement a dynamic, inclusive, and student-centered curriculum.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among staff.
  • Monitor student performance and ensure high academic standards are met.
• Staff Management and Development:
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate teaching and support staff.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and constructive feedback to foster professional growth.
  • Facilitate regular staff meetings to encourage collaboration and share best practices.
• Community Engagement:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the school and parents, fostering open communication and trust.
  • Organize parent-teacher meetings, school events, and workshops to strengthen the school community.
• Student Welfare and Safety:
  • Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Address and resolve conflicts, incidents, and disciplinary matters promptly and professionally.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field (preferred).
• Ontario Principal Qualification Program (PQP) certification or equivalent (preferred).
• A minimum of two years of teaching experience.
• Experience working in an Islamic school setting is an asset.
